We exist to be good stewards of the land and livestock we've been entrusted with, and to share our story in a way that will inspire others to take a strategic approach to farm and land stewardship.
"To whom much is given, of him much will be required" ~ Luke 12:48
We focus our efforts on responsible land management, quality livestock production, and wildlife conservation. We're building a new farm business from the ground up. Its a little scary and VERY exciting! Come along for the journey. Along our path we'll be sharing helpful content we hope helps bridge some gaps between full-time farmers, gardeners, hobby farmers, homesteaders, and others who enjoy the bounty of the outdoors.
There is an emotional connection between many of us and the land. Especially in the kind of folks that like to get a little dirt under their fingernails. Farming is hard and every property has its challenges. At Mulberry Hill we know we don't know everything. Our experience has taught us that when we step back and take a strategic look at the challenges that lie before us there are interesting solutions to most problems. As often as not, those solutions are a little outside the box. For us critical thinking and the ability to make data-driven decisions are the most important tools on any farm.
Family first - always. We believe that family is important, and that it extends beyond the bounds of blood relation. That belief is at the epicenter of our operation. We're about cultivating more than forage. Relationships are an important cornerstone in any business. Ours is no different.
